I’ve suspected this for a LONG time. I know a lot of people who hold this opinion.
My guess Bush/Cheney’s administration did it to terrorize Democrats and the Media into submission. The other people who were killed were simply killed to make it look like some nut was doing this and to cover who the actual targets were.
